Ben Gilchrist joined Town Law Center PLLP as a partner in 2026. During law school, Ben worked at a law firm focusing on municipal defense litigation, where he gained early experience addressing the legal needs of local governments. After passing the bar, Ben began his legal career at a small firm in Charleston, South Carolina, practicing in the area of construction litigation.

In 2022, Ben returned to Minnesota and focused on general litigation, representing clients in a variety of matters including employment, commercial, and products liability. Through these experiences, Ben developed a broad foundation in litigation that he now brings to his work with local governments.

Ben is excited to join Town Law Center PLLP and looks forward to returning to the type of work that first drew him to the legal profession—serving the communities of Minnesota and supporting the important work of local governments across the state.
